Shia LaBeouf and his longtime girlfriend,
Mia Goth, are engaged, sources tell
Us Weekly.
According to one, the couple was grabbing groceries at Gelson’s earlier this month when LaBeouf, 29, told the cashier that they were set to get married.
The onlooker tells Us that Goth sported a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.
And in February, the former Disney star referred to Goth as his fiancée during his live-streamed performance art project #Elevate, for which he spent 24 hours riding an elevator.
A rep for the actor did not respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment.
The pair, who have been dating on and off since they met on the set ofNymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012, first sparked engagement rumors last March when the British actress stepped out to a Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week on March 11 with a large sparkler on her ring finger.
Neither she nor LaBeouf publicly commented on the status of their relationship at the time, though they did temporarily seem to call it quits last July after the
Transformers star was
caught on tape threatening Goth.
LaBeouf was spotted holding hands with his American Honey costar Sasha Laneseveral weeks later. But after the actor was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in Austin, Texas, in October, he was seen with the model again.
LaBeouf previously dated stylist
Karolyn Pho for two years before they split in 2012. He dated
Carey Mulligan for about a year before that, but the
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps costars called off their relationship in 2010.
